Refurbishment works successfully delivered for Business Park in Kent
Slatter Estates Surfacing were recently awarded a contract to carry out refurbishment works on an estate road at a business centre in the south of England. The works consisted of the full tarmac removal of all existing areas of defective tarmac and replacing with new surfacing (Approx 1500 m2).
Slatter Estates Surfaces were responsible for the design of the project after winning the competitive tender to complete the works. The refurbishment works included the construction of a new car park and the associated drainage and surfacing works to compliment. The car park was designed to provide safe and easy access for employees and businesses that use Henwood Business Centre, and the design and delivery of the construction works were carried out with this in mind.
The work was completed on time and within budget, much to the satisfaction of IPM Facilities Limited, who manage and maintain business parks throughout the region. IPM Facilities Limited were pleased with the finished drainage and surfacing works, as well as line markings, further ensuring safe access for cars and pedestrians.
