Alongside the Wirtgen sales team, workshop manager and workshop operatives, the SES team customised our new machine with improved lighting, larger machine hooper material retention skirts and adapted screed levels. Purpose built hydraulic ploughs were fitted to the front of the machine to mitigate overflow or excess material in the paver’s path. Wirtgen engineers were on hand on delivery day to the site, undertaking adaptations to the new paver to optimise its performance for the SES team.
The new tracked Super 1600-3i laser guided paver guarantees the perfect tolerance for a zero deviation on 4 – 5 ½ strip (rip) widths and performs perfectly on the surfacing of roads, car parks and artificial turf sports pitch bases. This investment by SES will provide enhanced performance and improved finishes for the high standards we work to.
